Ah that's great, the older version just didn't seem to want to work for some reason, everything I'd seen had used it online so I'd stuck to it. Thanks for your help!

Hi,

We used GCC ARM Embedded 9.2020-q2.update for the testing&verification of SDK v17.1.0. I recommend updating/installing that version instead. https://developer.arm.com/downloads/-/gnu-rm

I've been trying that however I've been encountering an error, shown below. I'm unsure as to why I've been receiving this error as the file that is telling me to change has been correct as far as I'm aware. I have also attached this below.

Hi,

Yes, you need to build and flash the bootloader to your device. If you don't have a bootloader already on the device, you need to flash it with a programmer, i.e. using Jlink/SWD.

You can find the bootloader projects in the folder: nRF5_SDK_17.1.0_ddde560\examples\dfu
