Hi,

First of all, the scenes cluster is not implemented in Matter 1.0 and the cluster is marked as provisional in the specification:

This means that it was not tested during the SVE event and therefore, interoperability of the feature is not guaranteed yet. Until this gap is filled, ecosystems will probably provide scenes-like features implemented on their side only.

But anyway, the add-group command requires that you previously install group keys using the Group Key Management cluster. Since that is a bit cumbersome, we resort to a chip-tool test in our example documentation in order to configure a test group using a single command: https://github.com/project-chip/connectedhomeip/blob/master/examples/light-switch-app/nrfconnect/README.md#group-multicast-binding-to-the-group-of-remote-endpoints-using-the-chip-tool-for-windows-or-linux. If you're curious what exactly the test does under the hood, you can take a look at src/app/tests/suites/TestGroupDemoConfig.yaml file.
