&lt;p&gt;In the Asset Tracker v2 application, the accelerometer is only used to detect whether there is movement as a binary state. In order to send accelerometer data to the cloud, you would have to add this to the application yourself, but there is no reason it should not be possible.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There is a basic accelerometer sample in Zephyr, that is probably a good place to start:&lt;/p&gt;
