That's odd. My quick check shows that there hasn't been any change regarding connection interval and iOS 16 recently.

I notice that you are quoting advertisement parameters (**_adv_param), not connection parameters. Could you perhaps be having the same mix-up in your code? Shall we take a look at how you are calling the APIs?

Yes, I tried changing bt_le_adv_param .interval_min / .interval_max to what iOS tells me it should be (15-30ms) but I am still getting errors similar to this post Getting continuous disconnects with iOS 16,

They claimed changing the intervals worked while mine does not. So I wanted to make sure I was changing the right variables.
