&lt;p&gt;The nRF24 is not recommended for new designs, see:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/products/nrf24-series"&gt;https://www.nordicsemi.com/products/nrf24-series&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Considering that you have communication, but the range is very poor. Then everything suggest that the problem is a layout and antenna design. To ensure good performance you need to connect a spectrum analyzer to tune the output power, and the antenna needs to be tuned to 50ohm using a network analyzer.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The nRF24L01 do not include any frequency hopping, this must be fully done by the MCU.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We do not support new development for the nRF24-series.&lt;/p&gt;
