I tried different PC, debugger, supply of chip. Nothing fixed this issue.

If you sample the VDD_NRF on this second board, and this is under 3.0V, then this could be the problem.

Do you have a jlink base, or similar debugger that handles a wider range of input voltage, that you can test with to see if the situation changes?

Kind regards,

Our product is made up of two PCBs. Both are supplied with one 3V battery. Both have nRF52840.

Had never a problem with Debugging the first PCB with battery. But the 2nd PCB i got problems since the start. With every PCB. Maybe the first PCB drains too much power so the 2nd PCB struggles with debugging.

RE: JLinkARM DLL unknown error

Hi,

If the battery voltage is lower than the debuggers supported target voltage of 3.3V, it can sometimes be problematic to communicate with your board.

Is this a problem on many boards or just one?

The J-Link EDU Mini V1 only supports 3.3V, if your device is powered at another voltage, it will have problems connecting over SWD.

Can you share information about the board you're trying to program? Which voltage is it powered with?
