It really helps. I downloaded vcpkg from pc-ble-driver-py pages, which led me an old version. Thank you for your advice.

Hi Zhaoyuan,
It seems that your vcpkg is a bit dated. My version is 2022-11-10-5fdee72bc1fceca198fb1ab7589837206a8b81ba

Could you try to reinstall vcpkg ?

Also my git version is 2.38 but I don't think it would be very different.

Hi Hung,

I can call git from command line and the path is added to system environment. Git version can be seen by the command of git --version. And my git version is git version 2.35.1.windows.2. The location of git is in D:\Program Files\Git, which is also added to system environment.

The vcpkg version is Vcpkg package management program version 2018.11.23-nohash.

I tried to reproduce the problem with "vcpkg install nrf-ble-driver" but in my case it worked just fine.

Could you give some more information on :

- Which git you installed, which version ? I installed via https://gitforwindows.org/ . Could you check the location of git ?

Have you made sure you can call git from command line (the path is added to system environment )

- Which vcpkg version you installed ?
