Question: Is there still a problem you encounter with porting the software to the other device
where the community can help you with?
if yes then please clarify the problem in more detail.

Question If your application (of the nrf62840) is flashed in the other device (nrf52832) and is not working
what do you see in the rtt logging as error so we can help you?

What I can see from the datasheets: One major difference is the memory size

nrf52832 :
Arm processor 64 MHz Arm® Cortex-M4 with FPU -> 512/256 KB Flash + 64/32 KB RAM

nrf52840 :
Arm processor 64 MHz Arm® Cortex-M4 with FPU -> 1 MB Flash + 256 KB RAM
