&lt;p&gt;I meant to say that the PPK2 isn&amp;#39;t connected to any device such as the ESP32 that you mentioned earlier? I can tell from the picture you shared last that PPK2 is set to source mode with the power supply enabled. I was wondering if you can disconnect the PPK2 from any DUT and just let it be connected to your Mac and see if the current consumption is still high.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;the crazy readings were not disappearing even when I disconnected ESP32,&amp;nbsp;Only solved it&amp;nbsp;when I closed the app and disconnected usb and then started new connection and application start.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But this was not the first time so I expect this to happen again and they I will follow what you said&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Could you disconnect the ESP32 from the PPK and only connect it to the Macbook. Are you still measuring unreasonable values when it&amp;#39;s not connected to anything except for the Macbook?&lt;/p&gt;
