Sorry, I assumed your question was related to Bluetooth security when I read "authentication".

It is the Bluetooth stack (i.e. Softdevice) that determines what Bluetooth version your device will have. You can look up the Bluetooth QDID for your Softdevice at https://launchstudio.bluetooth.com/Listings/Search to find out what version of the specification it is based on. S140 v.7.0.1, 7.2.0, and v7.3.0 is for instance based on Bluetooth 5.1 as can see from the listing here: https://launchstudio.bluetooth.com/ListingDetails/94511

im sorry for my badly describe.the authentication means Bluetooth Qualification Bodies,its not the pairing key exchange.for BQB5.2 or BQB5.3 ,the nrf52840 can get？

I'm not aware of any new pairing methods introduced between Bluetooth version 5 and 5.3. Is there a specific pairing method you had in mind? Both versions include support for LESC pairing.
