Hi, we found the issue. There was a difference in CONFIG_MAIN_STACK_SIZE between our boards. This caused unpredictable behaviour resulting in a static varible being overwritten and mcuboot getting stuck in a infinite loop. Increasing the stack size in mcuboot.conf for the faulty board resolved the issue.

It's completely different boards with different functionally, but both use the NRF52840. My point was that it's using the same processor, same SDK and same flash memory.

We have done some debugging during the day using breakpoints in MCUBOOT, and have found that mcuboot is stuck in anomaly_122_uninit, while loop nrfx_qspi_mem_busy_check and never exits from there.

So you have 2 custom boards, and you are seeing this issue only on 1 board? correct?
