We are using a custom board with nrf52840 and just started using our own generated keys to sign images with NRF SDK v1.9.1.
We ran into issues when trying to swap images using mcuboot with our generated keys.
When using the default keys everything

RE: Problem with custom signed images and mcuboot swap

Hi, we found the issue. There was a difference in CONFIG_MAIN_STACK_SIZE between our boards. This caused unpredictable behaviour resulting in a static varible being overwritten and mcuboot getting stuck in a infinite loop. Increasing the stack size in mcuboot.conf for the faulty board resolved the issue.

RE: Problem with custom signed images and mcuboot swap

Hi,

Check if fixing this regression helps.

My point was that it's using the same processor, same SDK and same flash memory.

We have done some debugging during the day using breakpoints in MCUBOOT, and have found that mcuboot is stuck in anomaly_122_uninit, while loop nrfx_qspi_mem_busy_check and never exits from there.

RE: Problem with custom signed images and mcuboot swap

Hi,
We have another custom board that is using NRF52840 with the exact same flash which works with our own generated keys, also built using the same SDK with mcuboot_secondary on external flash aswell.
So you have 2 custom boards, and you are seeing this issue only on 1 board? correct?
