Thanks for the persistency for asking about this issue, you have identified an issue with the current implementation. This will be fixed, please follow progress here (and you can also include this in your current project while waiting for the fix to be included in nrf connect sdk in future):

The proposed source code has already been adapted.

My concern is that XOSC32MTRIM on nRF5340 PS has SLOPE range of [-16 to 15], but the source code you suggested has SLOPE range of [0 to 31].

At the moment there are other internal tasks ongoing that have higher importance, this case will be looked into eventually. We don't have any indication that the embedded code that handle this is wrong though, so I suggest to keep it as:
