Hi,

You can follow this guide, but only if you update one core at the time. For updating nRF5340 over BLE, you would probably want to update both cores simultaneously as shown in the example here. Additionally, you can have a look at simultaneous multi-image DFU, FOTA updates, and MCUboot serial recovery in working with nRF5340.

nRF5340 is our customer's decision, we can not change it.

Now I want to try DFU over UART first, then DFU over BLE.

Does the following URL steps also apply to nRF5340? I try it but seems not work.

Hi,

We do not have any specific sample with central role, but it should not be a problem to combine any BLE sample with central role with any mesh sample, including light sample.

You could start from light switch sample. However, I would recommend that you wait for an upcoming NCS version which is expected to have light sample with DFU support. Having said that, light sample with DFU in the upcoming NCS version will not be supported on nRF5340. Therefore, you should consider obtaining nRF52840 if you would like to start your development using sample which provides DFU as well.

After review the examples with nRF5340 and BLE mesh, I choose Bluetooth: Mesh light switch as code base.

Is it ok?

You can read about various available nRF Bluetooth Mesh samples and Zephyr Mesh samples in the documentation. There is also information available on how to work with nRF5340-DK.

We use nRF5340 MCU. I check

C:\ncs\v2.1.2\nrf\samples\bluetooth\mesh\ble_peripheral_lbs_coex

It is not support nRF5340.

Can you give suggestion for nRF5340 code base? other example in NCS?

Hi,

There is coexistence sample which is a good starting point if you want to combine Bluetooth Mesh and Bluetooth Low Energy features.
