You can import the Eclipse project to Android studio. I have tested it and is working. But you will have to manage some dependencies.

I have referred to the following links while rectifying the errors in importing

But it has some problem.

nRF should send at least one time. Otherwise, it cannot reconnect.

For example, Case 1) Connect and then Phone send , nRF send, disconnect. Try reconnect, it's OK Case 2) Connect and then phone send, phone send, disconnect. Try scan, phone cannot find nRF device. Case 3) Connect and then nRF send, disconnect. Try scan, phone can find and connection is OK.

Conclusion is 'nRF IC should send at least once for reconnection'

This example is for Eclipse, not Android Studio.
