I am trying to capture provision packets from the BLE Mesh. I have nRF app for iOS. My iPhone is considered as a provision device, is it possible to provison another iPhone by scanning it in the application?
I saw a lot of tutorials are using

RE: Provision of iOS devices

In the nRF Mesh app you can choose to export the provisioner data. You can then import this data to another phone, so that this phone also can act as a provisioner for the network, using valid address ranges etc.

The phones can not communicate directly with the Mesh, they need to communicate with a proxy node and they can forward the messages through the network.

Maybe you want me to find some litterature or documentation about the different roles in BLE Mesh?

I’m afraid that is not possible.

If you want to add another phone, you can use the export/import functionality from the nRF Mesh app.

Let me know if you need more information.

So far, nRF mesh app on iPhone doesn't find any bluetooth devices that can be provisioned.
