In the nRF Mesh app you can choose to export the provisioner data. You can then import this data to another phone, so that this phone also can act as a provisioner for the network, using valid address ranges etc.

The phones can not communicate directly with the Mesh, they need to communicate with a proxy node and they can forward the messages through the network.

Maybe you want me to find some litterature or documentation about the different roles in BLE Mesh?

I’m afraid that is not possible.

If you want to add another phone, you can use the export/import functionality from the nRF Mesh app.

So I guess my question is it possible if one iPhone with nRF mesh app installed on it acts as a provisioner and another iPhone will be provisioned?

So far, nRF mesh app on iPhone doesn't find any bluetooth devices that can be provisioned.
