&lt;p&gt;So, the nRF7002-PDK has had a revision A and revision B release. It turns out that NCS v2.2.0 configures the firmware for revision B by default, and it is not backwards compatible with revision A.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To fix this issue, set the following Kconfig flag to configure the revision A firmware:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;code&gt;CONFIG_NRF700X_REV_A=y&lt;/code&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;That should do it.&lt;/p&gt;

It will show up in the Toolchain Manager soon!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From what I can see, this sample &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/2.1.2/nrf/samples/wifi/radio_test/sample_description.html"&gt;wasn&amp;#39;t present yet&lt;/a&gt; in v2.1.2.&lt;/p&gt;
