&lt;p&gt;The library handles gain by itself now, so there is no gain tuning required.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Depending on the board and more importantly the antenna there might be a different delay in the measurement, which gives an offset in the value reported by the library. We recommend doing a calibration test at a known, short distance of a small number of wavelengths, for instance at 60 cm. (60 cm is around two feet, for those who prefer non-SI units.)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Please note that at the time of writing, the &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/libraries/others/dm.html"&gt;Distance Measurement module&lt;/a&gt; is still in experimental. This means the solution can be expected to change.
