Our devs got right on it and has now released Bluetooth Low Energy v4.0.4 where this issue has been fixed. Thank you very much for the bug report!

Indeed, this seems to be a bug in the latest version of the Bluetooth Low Energy application unfortunately. I have reported it internally, and the developers will look into it. A new release with a fix will be released as soon as we get to the bottom of this. In the meantime I think you can roll back to an older version to work around this.
