We are doing some testing on an eSIM with the nrf9160 DK, and we are looking for an AT command that can be used to read the eUICC ID of the SIM. We are using the Serial LTE Modem application, which is then controlled by an external MCU.

I will try to ask about it.

As far as I know it is based on the ETSI TS 101 220 standard. You can find a blog post about it here.

Best regards,

Are these AT commands documented somewhere? It does not appear to be in the AT command manual so it is a bit difficult to understand what is going on in the abovementioned AT command sequence.

RE: How to retrieve an eUICC ID?

Hello Frikkie,

I may have a solution. Please try the following commands:

Channel Open and ECASD AID Select

AT+CCHO="A0000005591010FFFFFFFF8900000200"
+CCHO: 1
OK

Get EID from GET DATA command

AT+CGLA=1,10,"81CA005A00"
+CGLA: 40,"5A10890330233113300000000003515530729000"

Channel close

AT+CCHC=1
OK

The green part should be your eUICC/EID.

Best regards,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I am looking into it.

I haven't been able to find any obvious command either, so I am going to contact the experts and come back to you.
