&lt;p&gt;Yes, the switch pattern here goes between antennas 3, 4 and 5 in example figure 12. In figure 10, antenna 1 is indeed only used for the reference period, but this is not necessary. You can set it up to do switching/sampling on all available antennas as well, like what is done in our &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/bluetooth/direction_finding_connectionless_rx/README.html"&gt;Direction Finding sample projects&lt;/a&gt; in the nRF Connect SDK.&lt;/p&gt;
