I found that the direction finding example in NCS 2.2.0 always have CONFIG_BT_LL_SW_SPLIT =y. I try to set BT_LL_CHOICE to BT_LL_SOFTDEVICE but failed. Does our direction finding example support the softdevice controller? Thank you.

We are going to fix this for the next release. If the customer needs this to work in 2.2.0, you can manually remove the SoftDevice Controller dependency

(depends on !BT_CTLR || BT_CTLR_DF_SUPPORT).

Just wanted to let you know that I reproduced it, and it is due to the bt_df_set_adv_cte_tx_param() and bt_df_adv_cte_tx_enable() functions only being declared in the Zephyr controller it seems. It builds fine (but doesn't run correctly) if you just declare them in main.c. Although I seem to recall that the application supports the SoftDevice as well. I have asked the developers what they know about this as it seems to be missing from the SoftDevice controller.

Best regards,

Does this concern all the Direction Finding samples? They should support both controllers as far as I know. I can do a test tomorrow on my end. What error exactly are you seeing on your end?

Best regards,
