Are you advertising with a white list? Please try to do an erase all, reprogram SoftDevice and then application.

I am using SDK 9.0 and SD 110 8.0. I had just modified the name and appearance and some texts. The flag is set in the example by using BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAGS_LE_ONLY_LIMITED_DISC_MODE.
I just downloaded it again and tried without modification, and the flag is still not set

What SoftDevice and SDK version are you using? I just tested the unmodifed ANCS_C example and the flag is set. How are you setting the flag?
