yes i using a external codec,it can't supprot change volume.

but now i find a software algorithm for lower the volume (can't increase volume)

What codec are you using? Are you using an external such as Low-Power Audio DSP from Cirrus (similar to the audio DK)?

i know 5340 le audio board, it change volme by ADC with i2c.

i means, using i2S play audio 16bit 16Khz, but Codec can't suport change volume,

so i want to change volume by software algorithm.

5340 have examples? or other type

For I²S to work you need a codec that converts the digital data to analog sound waves.

No other hardware = no audio output at all.

That chip usually has an out-of-band method (like I²C) in order to control settings like volume. That would be much simpler compared to doing math on the transmitted audio data.
