If you don't use Bluetooth in your application, you don't have to do any Bluetooth certification or authentication.

You are free to use and modify the ESB/Gazell protocol we provide in the SDK. There is no fee for using ESB.

I want to create and develop my own protocol by referring to the proprietary_rf example file provided by nRFSDK.

(esb_low_power_prx, esb_low_power_ptx or gzll)
Wouldn't that be a license fee?

Hi Seungwan,

Could you give us more detail about the proprietary RF protocol that you plan to use ?
If you don't use BLE and simply use the radio directly or use our proprietary protocol such as Enhanced Shock Burst , you don't have to pay any fee.
If you develop your own protocol stack, you don't have to pay any fee. The only fee you have to pay is the price of the chip.
