I am using the nrf52 for development purposes, during the development I need to power cycle the device approximately ~1000 times, no flash writes in between. Does this effect the mean time to failure? Does this effect the lifespan of the device

RE: power cycling effect on Mean time to Failure

Hi Michael

No, if the power cycles doesn't affect the flash there shouldn't be a noteworthy affect to the nRF52832 lifespan or "mean time to failure". The factors that do impact the lifespan is mainly the supplied voltage, the storage/operating temperature and the amount of flash write/erase cycles done on the device. Please see the absolute max ratings in the PS for details.

Best regards,
