Hi,

I've asked around and have come to the conclusion that we don't have the API to do specifically what you want to do in terms of an update API. You will most likely have to re-initalize the init to update the name set in nfc_init. For this you can use the nrfx_NFC library found here: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrfxlib/nfc/README.html

We use NFC for pairing. When changing device name in gap , the new name can be seen in advertising. However, it doesn't change the OOB data of NFC.

When using NFC reader to read tag, the device name of OOB data is still old one. I would like to refresh it to latest one.

From example code of NFC, the device name is read and set into NFC library during power up by init api but I didn't find update api for it.

Hi,

Could you explain what you want to use NFC for in more detail? It's a bit unclear when you want to change the bt name. Do you mean that bt name should be changed when you scan/read a NFC tag (i.e. name is stored on the tag), or something else?
