 I&amp;#39;m trying out the Matter: Light bulb example using an nrf52840 device on NRF52840-DK. So far, I have managed to build the software, flash the device, provision it into the network using Apple HomeKit at iOS 16.2

&lt;p&gt;This seems to be related to a small sample configuration problem. The developers will fix it in the Matter upstream, but it might take some time before the changes are in nRF Connect SDK. A workaround in the meantime is to change this value from FE to FF: &lt;a href="https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/blob/main/samples/matter/light_bulb/src/zap-generated/endpoint_config.h#L500"&gt;https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/blob/main/samples/matter/light_bulb/src/zap-generated/endpoint_config.h#L500&lt;/a&gt; and recompiling the target.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Issue 2 is an expected behavior in Matter 1.0. Matter 1.0 has a backoff mechanism that can take from 30 minutes to 90 minute to re-trigger a CASE session reestablishment if an accessory was not reachable for some time. Rebooting the Homepod will re-trigger the CASE session establishment. This is expected to be fixed in a later version of Matter, but for now rebooting the Homepod is a workaround for this problem.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The development team is trying to reproduce what you are seeing in issue 2. In most cases it worked, and the device reconnected. They tested with waiting 5-15 minutes after powering it off before turning it on again, and the connection was re-established in ~30 seconds after boot. However, during one test where they waited only 3 minutes before turning it on again they had to wait 5 minutes for connection to be re-established. So it does not look like disabling the device for a longer time will necessarily result in a longer re-connection time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When you turned the device off for more than 5 minutes, how long did you wait for re-connection? Is it able to reconnect after some minutes?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The development team also saw that closing and re-opening the Apple Home app or clicking on the Homepod to activate it could help trigger a re-connection faster, so can you test this? This is of course a poor user experience, but it is important to know, in order to figure out whether it is a 100% reproducible bug or something else.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;3. A log to show that when it works, changing brightness and then turn off and turn on forces it to 100% brightness&lt;/p&gt;
