Drag drop the ble_app_uart_pca10028_s130.hex from nRF5_SDK_12.3.0_d7731ad\examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_uart\hex

into the file memory layout window. Click "Erase & write", and after that "Reset". You should see the nRF51-DK advertise after that.

Also can u suggest a way or provide any tutorial to flash and debug nrf51422_xx_AC. it uses soft device s130. now iam using sdk 12.3.0.

Thanks for your support, i tried the pre built hex without adding softdevice seperately. But still it is not working

Hi,

The pre-compiled hex comes with the SoftDevice included. So no reason to add the Softdevice as well in this case.

Iam getting the following issue when it done with nrf connect app

1) It's only in the IAR debug session you see this issue?

2) Do you see any issues if you use the nRF for Desktop programmer app to flash one of the pre-compiled(.hex) examples?

Are you using a custom board or a DK? Does your custom board have an external LF crystal?
