&lt;p&gt;We use the same hidden feature in the DFU library. Please, find the removeBond(BluetoothDevice) method here: &lt;a href="https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/Android-DFU-Library/blob/release/dfu/src/main/java/no/nordicsemi/android/dfu/DfuBaseService.java#L2641"&gt;github.com/.../DfuBaseService.java&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Be aware that it may be removed any time from the Android, stop working etc. It also disconnects you if you were connected. I didn&amp;#39;t find any other issues with using that method.&lt;/p&gt;
