I'm having a similar issue too.

Commissioning fails at Google and Apple.

At Samsung, commissioning is successful. (QR Code and Pin Code)

Tested with NCS v2.2.0 / light_bulb.

If you succeed in commissioning at Google and Apple in the future, could you share your test environment?

It's very useful to me.

Additionally, I attach the log of my testing.

The developers suspect it might be an Android software issue rather than specific phones. I tested with a phone with the same Android version as you, 13. As far as I know, OnePlus does not support Android 13 yet, so that might explain why your colleague was able to get it to work. I will do some more testing and see if I can verify this.

In the meantime, the developers asked if you can try to reinstall the Google Home app and make sure that the cache is clear, as well as factory reset the Google Hub.

I have a gut feeling that the Google Home issues might be related to the BLE implementation on specific Android hardware/software combinations.
What's the easiest way to test whether my router supports IPv6?
In Windows open command prompt and use the command
ipconfig
. If you are using Linux, you can use
ip a
(
ip -c a
if you want it with colors so it is easier to see). If you have an IPv6 address (not link-local IPv6) under your network adapter then your router supports IPv6.

I did some tests with Google Home today myself, and I was having similar issues as you. Everything was working as it should on the nRF52840 DK's side, which makes me believe that the issue is with the Google Home app/firmware. I will keep testing and looking into this, and I will get back to you.

Which version of the SDK are you using? What versions are the Apple Home and Google Home?

Can you please go through our blog post Matter: Testing the nRF Connect platform with Apple, Google and Samsung ecosystems and see that you have performed all the steps there? In addition to the blog post, please make sure that you factory reset the device before testing/commissioning. In the samples this can be done by pressing button 1 for 6 seconds.

I have seen one other customer with some similar issues with Apple and Google, but our development team have not been able to reproduce the issue, and suspect the issue might be with the Apple/Google application or with routing. The developers are currently looking into this, so I will investigate to see if it might be the same issue as you are experiencing and get back to you.
