Yes you can use Bluetooth inside Thingy91.If you check the product specification you can see that thingy91 comes with both nRF9160Sip (for LTE-M,NB-IOT and GNSS ) and nRF52840 Soc (for Bluetooth low energy).

No it's not true.I think you got mixed up with nRF9160Sip and nRF9160dk.

thank you so much for your response.,

I gone through the thingy91 with sensors inbuilt and 9160 sip but as of my knowledge I cannot use the nrf9160dk for Bluetooth applications is it true ? or can I use thingy 91 for Bluetooth also?

Hello,

I am not sure on your project, but what I guess is you want to collect the sensor data using the sensors in Thingy52 then process this data and send to cloud using nRF9160, am I right? If so you can collect the sensor data using thingy52 and send to nrf9160 via Bluetooth and then to cloud.

But do you know about Nordic thingy91 which comes with inbuilt sensors and nRF9160 on it. Take a look at the getting started guide and there is also a section for connecting to nRF cloud.
