Hi Cindy ,

My understanding when looking at the webinar is that it's a firmware that R&S made so that it supports the connection and the command from the CMW270.
I don't see why they point to us to provide the firmware for nRF52833.
If they can provide their firmware project & source code for nRF52840 we can modify it so that it supports nRF52833, but without the project for nRF52840 we can't help.

Hi,

R&S has demonstrated nRF52840 connecting to CMW with test mode in this webinar, at 27:43.

But we have the nRF52833, not the nRF52840 demoed in the webinar so it might be a different FW.

I also raised a support ticket with them asking R&S to provide the FW but they recommended us contacting Nordic since it's the Nordic DUT.

I can't see that this is FW from us.. can you ask them for the FW? It might be their internal test FW.

Hi Kaja,

This is OTA test so we can't use DTM mode. I found the attached FW peripheral_uart_nrf52833dk.hex and was able to connect to CMW in connection mode with that FW. Are there any other FW that supports test mode? I spoke to R&S and they mentioned they used FW nRF52833_SOC_OTATestMode_DUT_S8_1_5_v3.1. Can you help provide that FW?

Hi Cindy,

you can have a look at this case: 286409

You can try with the DTM FW and follow CMW270 documentation on how to connect and communicate over UART.

Here is our application note on production test using DTM, it describes the set up with an Anritsu MT8852B.
