&lt;p&gt;The PCA10040 is not in full release yet, and as such all documentation is not yet available(errata, altium files etc.). You are correct that the PCA10040 contains the new ES2 chip, there may also be some slight alterations to the PCB. There are no changes to the pinout of the ES2 chip.&lt;/p&gt;
