&lt;p&gt;The DTM example is made to be used with a BLE tester,&amp;nbsp; or the Direct Test Mode application in &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nrf-connect-for-desktop"&gt;nRF Connect for desktop&lt;/a&gt;. We also have a &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/peripheral/radio_test/README.html"&gt;radio test example&lt;/a&gt; which is recommend when not using a BLE tester. It can be used&amp;nbsp; for all the test modes listed, expect for the continuous hopping mode.&lt;/p&gt;
