&lt;p&gt;The SIM was activated, new device certificate was uploaded.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But we found the problem. Turns out it was a modem problem. We had to upload through LTE Link Monitor the latest modem firmware (1.3.3), but the application firmware for the asset_tracker_ltem_v2 from the 2022-02-17 version. With the more recent ones, we had a message saying that some parts of the memory were not accessible from the LTE Link Monitor.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anyway, asset_tracker_ltem_v2 works fine, I could finally add my device to the nrfcloud. I just flashed the exercise from the &amp;quot;interacting with the modem&amp;quot; chapter from the cellular IoT Nordic Academy, and it runs great.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Furthermore, if we check the error codes&amp;nbsp;from the REST API of the message I get when trying to add a device, no provisionning issue is mentionned :&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So yes, I did delete the device straight after updating the certificate.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, I don&amp;#39;t know which network operator was used by the device. I just tested the connection, but did not use it any further because my application needed other functionnalities to be done before moving on to the connectivity part (which I can do now...). So I didn&amp;#39;t use at all the LTE Link Monitor, I just checked on my nrf cloud account that the device was connected in the &amp;quot;device management&amp;quot; area.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m using the provided ibasis eSIM.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And sorry, I must not have been clear about the VM. I was already on a linux VM when I established the first connection, i just changed the VM for another one. I don&amp;#39;t have nrf connect for desktop, nor any nordic files on my physical machine.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Was there a connectivity problem only on your virtual machine? Did you have this connectivity problem using your physical machine as well?&lt;/p&gt;
