I've tried also to remove the permission to allow repairing (even if I need it) and the issue is still present.

The peer count does not increase and PM_PEER_RANKS_ENABLED is set to 1.

Hi,

1) Does pm_peer_count() also increase for each disconnect/connect? Since Android uses RPA address, and you have .allow_repairing = true, it could be that the bonding data is being duplicated, instead of overwritten.

2) Do you have PM_PEER_RANKS_ENABLED set to 1 in sdk_config.h ?

There was some FDS fixes in nRF5-SDK v17.1.0. Could you check and see if you are able to reproduce the issue with v17.1.0 ?
