Thank you for your reply.
It is currently confirmed that the new version of nRF9160-DK (V1.1.0) circuit design integrates GPS_ EN control is connected to the GPIO pin of COEXO.
However, the GPS products that our company has mass produced are designed according to the old nRF9160-DK circuit to confirm GPS_ EN control is connected to the GPIO pin of MAGPIO.
When GPS_ EN control is connected to the GPIO pin of MAGPIO. The parameter definition "CONFIG_MODEM_ANTENNA_AT_MAGPIO=" AT% XMAGPIO=1,0,0,1,115741577 "in its .config seems to be invalid for GPS_EN control.
For the problem that GPS_EN has no effective control. I need your professional help, thank you.

This v0.8.2 DK is outdated. It might not work as expected. Please update to the latest DK, at least v1.0.0.

Hi Amanda,

It means that there is no difference between the settings of CONFIG_MODEM_ANTENNA_GNSS_ONBOARD=y and CONFIG_MODEM_ANTENNA_GNSS_ONBOARD=n in the PCA10090 development version (0.8.2)?
So, confirm that the R6 and C10 contacts on the development version are kept high?

J6 in PCA10090 development version (0.8.2) is not suitable for external physical antenna with coaxial plug?

Hi,

Our expert said that you are using an old 8.0.2 DK, and this schematic is not suited for the external active antenna. Only for use of external antenna with using the LNA on the PCB.

This old DK is outdated.

Hi,

In the gnss sample, the default setting is to use the onboard internal antenna. You can check .config under build\zephyr:

CONFIG_MODEM_ANTENNA_GNSS_ONBOARD=y
# CONFIG_MODEM_ANTENNA_GNSS_EXTERNAL is not set
