I am still facing this same issue with NCS v2.4.0 with the Matter Lock sample application. Any resolution to this?

Hi Mahesh,

The issue is due to a toolchain/elftools issue. This has been fixed in the upstream Matter repository and will be fixed in v2.3.0 of nRF Connect SDK.

Hi Mahesh,

I tested this, and the issue seems to be only with the Matter samples. Generating RAM and ROM reports for other samples using Ubuntu 20.04 works as expected. With Matter samples, I get an error both on Ubuntu and Windows. I suspect that it might be due to the size of the projects. I will report it to the developers and get back to you.
