&lt;p&gt;The nRF connect SDK uses the mcumgr protocol for DFU whereas the library you linked to supports the Secure DFU protocol used in the nRF5 SDK and is not compatible with the thingy 53, unfortunately.&amp;nbsp;The differences between these libraries are also summarized in the readme here:&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/IOS-nRF-Connect-Device-Manager"&gt;https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/IOS-nRF-Connect-Device-Manager&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We provide native&amp;nbsp;DFU libraries for mcumgr&amp;nbsp;on iOS and Android, but there is currently no version for flutter. However, I will ask the developers if there are any immediate&amp;nbsp;plans to add flutter support. Will let you know when I know more.&lt;/p&gt;
