Can the nRFgo Studio recognize the board? Does nRFjprog --eraseall work in order to reset the board? Can you also try nrfjprog --recover

Can this be the problem?

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, started with Chapter 3 and did the recommended steps. What I think may have happened is that the device got disconnected midway, and has neither the J-Link nor the mbed loaded at the minute. Trouble is, the LED won't turn on, nor blink. And the device isn't recognized as a USB device on any of the computers around here (macs and pcs). Also opened a trouble ticket case, so perhaps that may give us some ideas.

Do you have the nRF51-DK board? If so, you should start with following the nRF51-DK user guide chapter 3 in order to have something to run on the board.
