Thanks a lot for your input. I did try installing latest J-Link drivers but it did not help. The problem was with windows drivers. I had to clean the registry, uninstall and re-install everything to make it work.

+! vote to check with the drivers, re-install if necessary. That exclamation mark in device manager should not occur. Latest version is available here

Did you install the J-Link drivers? The yellow exclamation marks in device manager might suggest a driver issue.

The JLINK drive shows up even without drivers since it works as a regular USB drive; no extra drivers needed so it might give you the false impression that the debugger is good to go.

I tried to drag and drop the application file : blinky.hex into the J-Link drive. I was able to successfully download and the LED's were blinking as well. However I still have issues with the J-Link driver, I am unable to use Keil for SWD. Even goStudio is not detecting nRF52DK. Any hint from Nordic???
