We are having an issue with our custom PCBs using the nRF51822. They are programmed and debugged using a custom external test board, using the SEGGER J-link. The actual product and test board are connected with a 6 pin header with i2C debug

RE: nRF51822, Studio and nrfjprog fails eraseall

Hi!

We experience the same problem with J-link 5.02 as well, on multiple computers with different setup. We use the NRF51822_xxAC version of the chip if that's information you need. :)

RE: nRF51822, Studio and nrfjprog fails eraseall

can you please try latest nordic tools and latest segger software and see if this problem still exists.

RE: nRF51822, Studio and nrfjprog fails eraseall

Segger version 498c

RE: nRF51822, Studio and nrfjprog fails eraseall

could you please give me more information, from the log it seems that the JLink dll returned error, what Segger version did you install?

RE: nRF51822, Studio and nrfjprog fails eraseall

Update: an erase through GDB server work, but this does not delete the UICR register.

RE: nRF51822, Studio and nrfjprog fails eraseall

We have been working on narrowing on the cause of this problem down, but we are struggling.
