The samples which I mentioned previously are the only ones currently available.

Could you provide more information about your use case?

Thank you but I was hoping for a way to use HTTP. If it is not possible I will attempt to adapt MQTT for my usecase.

There are several Wi-Fi samples and among them you can find MQTT sample.
