We are using a Fanstel module BC840. According to Eurofins, they need to send HCI commands to our device over USB. Our firmware was developed using SDK

RE: BT SIG SAR Testing of Fanstel BC840 module

Here is the DTM for the SDK: https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v17.1.0/ble_sdk_app_dtm_serial.html?cp=9_1_4_5

DTM for nRF devices doesn't have HCI, only 2-wire UART.

But there are HCI examples for NCS: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/bl.html

Regulatory RF test certifications done by the module vendor, when the module have radio + antenna, can be reused. So additional regulatory RF certification, not done by the module vendor, must be done on the end product, for marked that the product gonna be sold in.

BT SIG you must list the end product, but you can reference our QDID's and/or the modules vendors QDID's.

2. Have a look at our DTM FW, used for BT SIG testing, and our radio test to be used for regulatory RF certificaiton.

Best regards,
Kaja
