I have the same question.

I want program nrf518122 external kit with jlink on nrf528232 DK preview kit, but i dont know how to connect.

Can you talk to me the diagram wHICH pin of nrf528232 DK preview kit i need to use.

Can i need eliminate connection between NRF52832 with jlink on nrf528232 DK preview kit.

Can you show me diagram connect with external board.

Can you try to program the nRF51 DK with the nRF52 Preview kit? That way we can see if debug out on your kit works or not. I have tried this with a nRF52 Preview Kit and a nRF51 DK using Segger J-Link driver v5.02f and it works.

And does the on-board nRF52 get programmed when you try to program an off-board nRF? In that case it might be that the external voltage is not detected properly.

That is strange. Looking at the reference layout files for nRF51 DK and nRF52 DK the pinout should be identical. Maybe it is a driver issue? What J-Link drivers are you using?

Yes. I have an nRF51 DK board and my external board is detected via the SWD interface from the nRF51 board. I am trying to accomplish the same via the nRF52 board but does not detect my external board. Everything else is the same. The SWD pins, are the interface the same in NRF52 board compared to the nRF51 board? The pin order etc do they remain the same?

Hi. Yes this is exactly what the Debug Out pin headers (P19 and P20) are meant for and should be possible. Have you remembered to power your external board? The Debug Out headers will not provide power to your external board.

By "detect" you mean JTAG/SWD interface when you are using "shiled"/"debug out" ports P19 or P20 on the DK? What SW are you suing (pyOCD, nRFgo Studio, nrfjprog, SEGGER J-Flash, ST-Link...)?
