&lt;p&gt;The default AWS IoT example code sets the connection to&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;persistent by default. As such, changes to the subscribe topic in the firmware are not reflected when the device next connects.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;As such, the following setting should fix the issue.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Sometimes they devices are reachable through their subscribed topics instantly other times they are not reachable until the next day. I dont have any rules that should interfere with subscriptions.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
