&lt;p&gt;have you checked the faulting instruction address using arm-none-eabi-addr2line? You can read &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/85723/net-lib-download_client-hard-fault-when-cancelling-download/359433"&gt;this post&lt;/a&gt; if you are unsure how to do it.&lt;/p&gt;
