 The Direct Test Mode(v2.0.4) app in nRF connect Desktop(v4.0.0) recognizes COM PORT by the cypress USB-UART controller IC, but the device selection is not successful and cannot DTM test proceed.

&lt;p&gt;Please be informed that a new version of nRF Connect for Desktop has been released with the downgrade feature.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will also need to install another copy of the nRF Connect for Desktop launcher, at the older version that worked with your desired DTM app version.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Here are the steps:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Update nRF Connect for Desktop to version v4.0.1&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Downgrade the DTM app from nRF Connect for Desktop&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I got feedback from our team that it looks like an issue&amp;nbsp;where the app does not handle devices without serial number well. Unfortunately, we don&amp;#39;t currently have a workaround for this.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My apology for the inconvenience. I will keep this ticket opened and inform you when a fix or workaround is available, or if the app downgrading feature is released.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, they don&amp;#39;t see anything outstanding; and without a similar hardware, they cannot reproduce it to debug the issue.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There is one last thing we can try. Could you try turning on&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;Verbose Logging?&lt;/em&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:inherit;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;It is under the&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;Support&lt;/em&gt;&amp;nbsp;card of the &lt;em&gt;About&lt;/em&gt; pane&lt;em&gt;.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:inherit;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;code style="font-family:inherit;"&gt;After that, please click on &lt;em&gt;Restart with verbose logging&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/code&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:inherit;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;button then reproduce the issue&amp;nbsp;with&amp;nbsp;your&amp;nbsp;Cypress device and send us the logs from clicking the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:inherit;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Open Log File&lt;/em&gt; button, which is located at the bottom of the log window&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:inherit;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:inherit;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
