It is possible to use parts of the sample on nRF7002. The TLS and socket libraries are not dependent on the network interface (e.g., cellular or Wi-Fi), so you can reuse these parts for setting up the TLS socket.

We don't have any examples for this unfortunately.

You could have a look at the nRF9160: HTTPS Client sample, which will at least show you how to set up the TLS socket that you will probably need in order to run an authenticated MQTT connection.
