The bt_le_ext_adv_sent_info callback is only available for the extended advertising API. Also, it may not have been clear in the other thread, but this gives you a callback when advertising is done, not on every advertising event. I am not aware of any API that will give you a callback on every advertising event if that is what you are after, but if your device is only advertising, you could probably use MPSL radio notifications.
